  • This mandala by Jose Alain Austria presents the 13th Century Dominican Blessing. It is a Dominican custom for a Dominican community to pray a 13th Century Dominican blessing before a member of the Dominican family departs for a new location. The text is attributed to Blessed Jordan of Saxony, who followed Saint Dominic as the Master of the Order in 1221.
