Cena Dominicana

The "Cena Dominicana" or the Dominican Last Supper is a reinterpretation of the famed Last Supper artworks done by masters of the arts. This reinterpretation features the well-loved and revered Dominican saints, blessed, and religious. It is the largest artwork on display in the Cafe, and a work of Bro. Joseph Conrad Salenga, a former Dominican seminarian. His other artworks may be found in the Dominicans in the Philippines section of our site. The Cena Dominicana is accompanied by a calligraphic artwork using pen and ink on paper, masterfully done by Phoebe Mae Hui, and laid out into a scroll. Both the painting and the scroll may be found on the left-side window upon entering the Cafe.
